7th Pula Boat Fair has been completed successfully
7th International exhibition of marine equipment and boats Pula Boat Fair has finished with the awarding ceremony few days ago. Pula Boat Fair this year brought together more than a hundred domestic and foreign exhibitors, manufacturers and businessmen in the well known Tehnomont Marina Veruda in Pula. It was an opportunity that took place over three days where you could meet the manufacturers who mutually exchanged experiences, contacts and arranged a potential business cooperation with the aim to present and discover new products and services and explore new business opportunities.
The organizing team of Motortech Consulting as executive organizers, expressed satisfaction with this year's fair offer and attendance. This year's fair, according to evaluations was the most serious one so far as evidenced by the many positive reactions of exhibitors and the audience, which is certainly an incentive for an extra step in terms of quality and supply for 2017.
Within 7th Pula Boat Fair's, International business meetings have been traditionally held. Organized by CCE County Chamber of Pula and the Enterprise Europe Network, this year's, business talks gathered fifty participants, businesses from all over the Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey which allowed a high-quality sectoral networking and created new business opportunities and possibilities.
This year's fair is marked by 160 years of Uljanik jubilee and the presentations of exhibitors have been held on the last day of the Fair. One of the goals of the Pula shipyard is to get as many Croatian suppliers and manufacturers involved in the tedious process of building specialized ships which Uljanik products. The meeting was followed by the awarding ceremony of professional awards and large plaques to the most successful exhibitor product that was first exposed to the PBF in 2016. Also the awards ceremony to the most successful authors of the photo contest on "Fisheye 2016", was being held.
Thus, professional awards and a large plaque for the most successful exhibitors premiere of the products assigned to companies Tema Ltd. and Motortech Consulting Ltd. for a joint project - hybrid marine propulsion. The awards took Branimir Ružojčić, CEO of Tema Ltd. and Alen Komparić, President of the Assembly of Motortech Consulting Ltd.. As for the photo contest Fisheye 2016, the jury in the composition of Eros Čakić and Dubravko Kujavec awarded Edna Jurcan with the ''Golden Fisheye'' for the photo "Dance of the sea" because of the thematic originality and photographic skills. Special diploma Fisheye goes to Igor Popovic for the photo "Sea of passing time", and other special diplomas Fisheye to Katarina Guina for a series of photographs. Fish eye for the most popular photo after visitor's selecting got Valter Zanco. After the ceremony, Mojca Tavcar Bencic in the name of sponsor companies Uljanik Tesu Elektronika drew the lucky winners valuable prizes, namely the electric bicycle.
On the 15th and 16th of October Sailing Federation of the Region of Istria and Pula Boat Fair organized this year's regatta Goldfish PBF for the Laser Radial, Laser 4.7 and Optimist on the Pula Bunarina. Totally 71 sailor from 8 sailing clubs from Istria County participated. The regatta completed this year's fair and set out clear guidelines for the 8th Pula Boat Fair, which we expect in October 2017.
