Motortech Consulting signed a contract for the supply of three marine diesel electric units for the company GMKH Limited from Malta

Last week, the leading manufacturer of diesel electric generators in Croatia and the largest service for high-speed diesel generators in the Adriatic, Motortech Consulting d.o.o. from Pula signed a contract for the delivery of three marine diesel electric generators with a power of 825 kVA (660kWe) for the Maltese client GMKH Limited. The units will be delivered to the HALONG Shipbuildnig company shipyard in Vietnam for the first of a series of four identical ships. The first ship is already under construction and should be completed by the end of the year, and Motortech Consulting has committed to deliver all three units within seven months of signing the contract. The last ship should be ready by the end of 2026, with the total value of the work for Motortech Consulting amounting to more than three and a half million euros. Motortech points out that the ship was designed mainly by Croatian constructors, and the complete construction will be supervised by the Croatian Register of Ships. These are luxury passenger ships, 120 m long, with a capacity of 130 passengers and about 100 crew members. It is expected that the ships sail in the Mediterranean in the summer, and in the Bahamas in the winter. "We have to say that it is one of the biggest deals that Motortech Consulting has contracted since its inception more than thirty years ago," notes Livio Bolković, the company's director.
