Motortech produced three more diesel power units for the Greek firefighters
The leading manufacturer of diesel electric generators in Croatia and the largest service for high-speed diesel generators in the Adriatic, the company MOTORTECH CONSULTING d.o.o. from Pula, last week completed three more power units for the second of two 25-meter fire-fighting boats for the Greek fire service.
The new buildings 123 and 124 are being built for the Greek firefighters at Tehnomont Shipyard Pula d.o.o. which has a long-term fruitful cooperation with Motortech.
The three power units for the first ship in the series were delivered at the end of 2022, and the upcoming handover of the power units will complete the work with a total value of more than one million and two hundred thousand euros, excluding VAT.
Each power unit consists of main MAN diesel engines with a power of 882 kW at 2100 rpm with straight exhaust, three pieces per new build with ZF reducers, also 3 pieces per new build and two Vulkan hydraulic pump clutches per new build, all with type certificates from the Bureau Veritas classification institution ..
