History

Our journey

1994

The company is founded

Motortech was incorporated in early 1994 as a limited liability company owned by eight partners. The core business was servicing small high-speed engines and selling spare parts.
1998

High-speed engine division takeover

On 1 January 1998 we took over the complete high-speed engine division of Uljanik Strojogradnja with all employees, the workshop, tooling and equipment, and the licence rights for maintenance and production of diesel engines under SEMT Pielstick licence.
2000-e

Authorisations and own programme

All employees are trained to service other manufacturers. We become an authorised service partner for MTU, Caterpillar, MAN, Mitsubishi and Isuzu and develop our own GENSET programme.
2010

Pula Boat Fair

We become the executive organiser of the Pula Boat Fair, an international marine equipment and boat show.
2016

Hybrid propulsion and offshore

Motortech gensets go to offshore platforms in the Caspian Sea, and our hybrid engines attract strong interest at Metstrade in Amsterdam.
2021

Brijuni National Park catamaran

We deliver two main diesel-electric propulsion gensets (2 × 330 kVA) for the first Croatian catamaran with diesel-electric propulsion.
2025

Award at Metstrade

Griffin Filtration presents us with its Long Term Distributor's Award for long-standing, reliable partnership.
